RVF Contingency Plan? - presidentcarter - 10-02-2012

I think it goes without saying that this forum has become a valuable resource to many of us and I'm curious if there has been any discussion around a contingency plan for continuing the community in the god-forsaken event that Roosh must go off the grid, site gets shut down or any other catastrophic event occurs.

I'm sure Roosh has thought about this, but say we go to log in tomorrow and nothings there..then what? No doubt Tuthmosis would step in and man the ship, but under what methods?

They'll have to kill me.

Roosh has a plan buried near a tree somewhere for where to meet in South America

Don't say that. Haven't you read The World According to Garp??

Roosh is building a supercomputer on the moon to host the forum in case of emergency.

...Chang isn’t the first person to propose putting a big data processing facility on the moon. Back in 2004, researchers at Space Systems Loral described something called the Lunar Data Cache — an extraterrestrial backup system that would keep businesses online in the event of a Sept. 11, 2001-type terrorist strike somewhere on Earth.

I already predicted how this is actually going to go down.

There are ways to get at the old datasheets.

There is google cache, and if that gets taken down there is the waybackmachine. Of course, if you're really paranoid, you can make your own local copy right now using
Code:
Code:
wget -m -k -K -E http://www.rooshvforum.network

Don't want to derail this thread, but do you know how wget compares to httrack for downloading websites? I'm familiar with the latter but not the former.

I have remote weekly backups, so worst case is we lose a few days of posts.

Roosh will be the next Julian Assange.

httrack is better for mirroring. However, wget comes preinstalled on many computers.
