Finding your niche - alchemist - 01-24-2010

Hey guys,

I've heard a good bit about finding a good niche in order to increase your chances of picking up girls. I've tried to incorporate that into my life somewhat, and I've had some success, but I think I could probably do much better.

If I'm going to a club, I go to a place where I'm into the music (mostely hip hop) and therefore the girls I talk to will have something in common right off the bat. They are generally places where girls like to dance, and I feel one of my strengths is getting intimate quite quickly on the dancefloor through touching etc. The loud music gives me an excuse to (a) get close in order to speak in her ear, and (b) stand there and generally have a good time if I run out of things to say, so to avoid awkwardness.

This is OK and I feel recently I've really improved my game in bars and clubs like this.

However, I'd be interested to know how any of you guys have managed to find a niche and have a consistently very high level of success. Suggestions for day game, night game, social circle and anything else are all welcome. How did you go about doing it??

Cheers

Good post. I have spots around town where I know the bartender, DJ, and waitresses. Having places on lock means that my comfort level is high, when doing a venue change I can get preferential treatment on tables, food etc.

I don't have niche with the girls that I approach because I'm relatively new to the game and don't want to be typecast as the guy who only approaches when..

Besides I'd like to be with a good mix of girls.
