I just ignore them all. I dont say Happy Birthday to other people either. I feel too fake doing it.

I understand it makes you feel a little better because It makes me happy when people wish me happy birthday but I just dont like doing it on facebook.

I might be an asshole. That might also be why I only have 70 facebook friends. haha

I try to find a way to send automatic replies. Anyone has an App for that?

Agreed, feels pretentious and that people only do it out of reciprocity. Sometimes I might wish someone happy birthday on FB but through a private message instead of on their wall trying to show how cool guy I am.

I got my birthday hidden so people don't see if I have a birthday. A good way to avoid the responsibility.

just "like" every post. it's a matter of social courtesy. wait till the next day, and scroll thru the window liking every post, takes less than a minute.

I disagree with the social courtesy part. Since when has "Happy birthday!" followed by a "How have you been?" been reduced to a facebook "like"?

For people that I do appreciate in being part of my life, I get a cake or something. Something to show my appreciation. I've never been much of a birthday guy. My last 5 birthdays have probably been spent working or stuck in the army doing sentry duty.

I don't need a bunch of people who are not part of my life telling me happy birthday. I am not willing to be part of this social facade.

Don't use facebook or talk to people on there except family. That is all. If you want to run that online game do it on a dating site, especially if you're a noob.

A girl you haven't talked to in a long time writing something exceptional on your fb birthday is an opportunity to reopen and run some fb message game.

Yeah, if you're in habit of adding girls on Facebook. I'm not.

what is kinda ambiguous is that we now have a "like" button on RVF, mimicking facebook... but all together it's a very different thing
