There was a guy performing at a community festival the other day the lyrics were the most pathetic thing I ever heard, I had to evacuate the area immediately to avoid the beta contagion. People and the performer thought it was rude for me to get up and leave... that shit was sucking my energy, alpha kryptonite.
And yes, Grenade, what kind of man connects with that song. I can't even comprehend that mindset, how is it possible to feel that way about a girl?? NEXT! Somebody's obviously not using the 2/3rds rule and/or has options.
I'm double-booked Saturday, that's my problem... and I'm trying to make it work! And I'm still planning to go out looking for options tonight. Wasn't it ACDC TNT who says "lock up your daughter, lock up your wife.. there's a new man in town"... need more songs like that.

I will say, they DID get laid, and it was with attractive women, but their stories were all the same.
The girl either got bored of them really quickly (like a month), or they cheated on them, or simply just didn't want to commit with those guys while the douchey-jocks took their girls from them. The "RnB fags" as I refereed to them would usually be heart broken and quote Mario lyrics in their MSN statuses for months to come.

To me, an interesting mix of beta/alpha in the actual songwriting and singing is Ryan Adams. Meanwhile, as a guitar player, these songs are really pretty easy to play, and having done that for some babes, can be very effective.
Three songs in particular. First, "Let it Ride" basically about a guy who is drinking himself to death. A bit autobiographical, as Ryan apparently loved the Jack Daniels.
