While out with some work associates, I ended up 'alone' (others getting up to play pool, etc.,) at the one end of the table enjoying the band at the bar we were all at.
Anyway, a petite little blond sat down on one side of me and we got chatting... I was doing the usual game on her and it sure seemed like she was interested - but then an little asian girl sat down on the other side of me to introduce herself as well. Now, I was hoping to pull the blonde girls # (if not an SNL close) so I really didn't put effort into the asian girl.
Before long the asian girl is running interview questions on me (& I'm still trying to chat up the blonde) and we ended up swapping numbers - I think it ended up being something like "if her one male friend is going to play paintball, she'd get him to invite me" (her reasoning was because I'm in a new city and don't know anyone).
The blonde didn't work out and the asian girl had to leave early (with a guy she was there with - thing is, I don't know if it was a friend, a bf or just her transportation).
The Asian girl is bangable... not a 9 or 10.. but a solid 7+ with a great personality & conversational ability. But because I wasn't really paying attention to her, I wonder if her paintball friend reason is a for real thing or if she was using as it cover to give me her number. How would you guys with more experience handle this one? Just invite her out to coffee and 'restart' the situation? She's not a bar girl, so it may be hard to get her out to bar/pub environment again. Now, I'm also in a new city so I don't know where to take her - thus would pretty much have to let her lead - thoughts??

Oh either way.
I would just call her in a day and invite her to a lunch/happy hour sort of thing and get some drinks in her. she was interested in you. youll hit her with the element of surprise and directness i think shell like.
or you can send her some smart ass text about paintballing and make that shit drag on.
if the phone call doesnt work out for whatever reason you can always fall back on text later to follow up.

Man up and ask her to get some coffee. You can use the "new to the city" to get her to take you out. You werent paying attention to her so no loss if she says no. Too easy.

She wants to fuck you. She probably asked her blonde friend to go over to you first because she's shy to approach you directly. Common tactic.
Always assume the guy she's with is not fucking her.
In every situation, it's best to assume the best case scenario. It will put you in the right mindset for the approach.
