Watching Scarface For Body Language Techniques - tjames - 07-22-2012

I had really bad body language and posture when I first got into game. I watched Scarface a while back(I re-watched it's one of my favorite films) and took notes on Tony Montana's body language in the first act of the film. I started putting it into practice and it felt a bit weird at first but then I noticed an improvement in my posture and body language. I get a lot of girls sitting next to me on the bus and looks from girls because of it. One girl even walked up and opened me with a shit eating grin on her face, this didn't happen before when my neck was slouched and I was looking at the ground.

Plus good body language has the girls leaning in to talk to me. When I can't hear her I say "I can't hear you, you are going to have to come closer". I've even put my own spin on the body language I developed. When I order drinks I just put my hand up, I use the come here gesture with my finger, etc. It seems to be catching a lot of girls attention.

The only thing is that if you overthink body language you will be a bit nervous and it can keep you from opening sets. Sometimes you have to do things that you might consider bad practice. For example I sat next to a hot blonde, and found out she had a boyfriend but her friend didn't. Her friend was smiling at me and I thought it would be bad body language to leave my seat and sit next to her friend. In retrospect I am kicking myself in the ass for this as she obviously wanted to talk to me and I didn't give her the opportunity.

Good observations and yes body language is very important. It is a must that you be aware of your posture and how you present yourself. I will watch Scarface tonight and report back. Body Language is definitely one of my top 3 strengths.

In the mean time, watch this video as it was my main body language reference when I wanted to improve...
