Forget for a second about how cool and futuristic this is, and how lucky we are to be living in the Golden Age of technology. Think about the possibilities in 10 or so years when the price gets down to the average man's range, and it doesn't require access to a runway to takeoff. Finally we'll be able to work in DC, but live in Europe. Live in Minneapolis, but fly to work everyday to Miami Beach. The possibilities are endless. This will change so many things. I get a boner just thinking about it. I'm so tempted to sell everything right now and order one today.

I have Popular Mechanics issues from the early 50's, you'd think flying cars would have been ubiquitous by now.

If the Terrafugia can eventually compete on the level of price, the world as we know it might experience quite the shakeup.

Though honestly, considering the way most morons drive, I damned sure don't trust them with a flying machine.
