Any artist residency travellers? - jason - 09-26-2009

Has any one visited another country through an artist residency programme?

An artist residency gives visual artists the opportunity to stay in another country for up to three months and longer with accommodation paid for and sometimes even expenses.

Iam an artist and have started to send off applications.I would love hear if anyone has already been on a artist residency.

There is a good artist residency program in Altos de Chavon in the Dominican Republic (Michael Jackson got married there).
