I'm cleaning out my place because I'm moving, and I found this notebook that I started 8 years ago, it has all the chicks I dated/banged for a few years around that time, and notes on where we met, how each date went, what I did wrong and could have done better. I'll admit it's rather thin, but the funniest part is that it's a step-by-step manual on how to become a beta. The sad thing is that I was doing a lot of things right but convinced myself they were wrong. One of my favorites is the first entry where I describe the girl as a total slut (she was), but then I go on to say "I was very cocky, did not really respect her or give her as much attention as she deserved," and how I need to be the opposite of this. This morning was evaluating how I'm doing at the beginning of August compared to the goals I set for myself at the start of the year

My notch count goal was 28, I have 13 after 7 months so I'm behind. I've been working hard at it but have had periods of struggle. I feel like I'm going into a hot streak starting last week though so maybe I'll catch up

Flag count goal was 4, I have two Thai and Canadian so doing ok. Not sure where other flags are going to come from will have to look around or maybe go on a trip in the fall

Takeaway:

I made sure to get cool with the group before deciding which girl to focus on. I introduced myself to the guy first.

Also, I used transferable attraction. One of the guys in my band is a famous male model. Girls are constantly giving him their numbers or crowding around to watch him.

But, he's got a girlfriend and isn't playing the field, and if he was, he could get much more attractive girls than the ones that I've seen dropping their numbers.

I do look like Hugh Jackman, not his twin, but close enough that I get told it all the time. Many, many times. Twice just in the last week. I have a similar hair style and long sideburns too and that emphasizes it. I went out on a date last night with the girl I met on Wednesday.

She's not the hottest thang, but she is definitely attractive. She's blond hair, blue eyed classic American beauty type.
