Steven Adams over Jokic? NBA fans are stupid. The front-runner for MVP is 7th in voting.

So the "best team in the East" TOR got their asses whooped by the Magic and are currently down 20+ points to the Spurs in the 4th quarter.
Houston looking better now that Harden found his rhythm. This season is all over the place. It's anybody's championship at this point. And don't tell me the Nuggets until they've won something in the playoffs.

He is having a hell of a year. Though he is greatly helped by the refs, who call a foul as soon as someone breathes on Harden. I wonder how many free throws he averages in a game.

Harden's currently averaging 11.1 free throw attempts per game & hitting 85% of them.
That puts it currently at #37 all time for a season. Harden is currently
#40 all time in career regular season free throw attempts.

Notable free throw attempt volume seasons within the last 20 years include:
- 2000-2001 Shaquille O'Neal (#7 with 13.1 FTA/G @ 53% FT%)
- 2010-2011 Dwight Howard (#19 with 11.7 FTA/G @ 59.6% FT%)
- 2005-2006 Allen Iverson (#23 with 11.5 FTA/G @ 81.4% FT%)
All three played at least 70 games. Despite Kobe's prolific scoring in the 2005-2006 season, his FTA/G was only 10.2 FTA/G, placing it at #88.

Anyway, here's my votes for the All-Star Game.
It's good to see Luka Dončić & Derrick Rose get some votes. Dwyane Wade is getting votes like 2015-2016 Kobe and I don't mind that at all. It's basically a career legacy award at this point.

Since Charlotte lost their last game to go
18-19, I expect them to win against the Nuggets on January 5 to go
.500 for the 18th time out of 19 opportunities. Apologies in advance goes to a certain Nuggets fan here.

James Harden is unreal. What a game, including the game winning 3 in OT over a double team, right on the mug of that bum Draymond Green. It’s always good when Golden State loses.

James Harden is a stooge, when it comes to games that count, he goes to sleep or comes up missing. I don't watch his theatrics these days.

Harden will run out of gas once the playoffs start, I'm afraid. Also I bet Houston front office is kicking themselves after giving Chris "Mr. Hamstring" Paul a max contract. Dude can't stay healthy for more than a week.

Yes, playoffs are another matter, and Harden doesn’t have the most stellar track record there. But what he has done in the last 10-12 games (and counting) deserves some credit. He’s an incredible scorer, and is right up there with some great ones if you look at the history of the league.
But to get into Jordan/Kobe etc territory where you take it up another level in the post season and win championships, that’s a whole ‘nother ball game.

We gonna forget he took the Warriors to 7 already? They were one CP3 hamstring away from a championship. Agree the office is kicking themselves about that contract.

James Harden needs to see a sports psychologist. When it's late May he ALWAYS comes up short. Like barely can make a shot. We've seen him dance and show out in Dec/Jan before.

That was far from Harden's doing. That was all CP3 being a strong leader and willing them those wins. Harden is this generation's Carmelo. Top talent scorer, crappy defender and even crappier teammate and leader.

He averaged 28.7 points per game that series (2nd only to Durants 30.4), 2.1 steals a game (highest of all players on both teams), and 6 assists a game (2nd only to Draymonds 6.7).
Plus watching the game he was clearly the most valuable player on both sides. Neither the stats nor the eye test match your statement.

Totally disagree. Basketball isn't just about points. A lot of lazy plays, ball killing and bad turnovers get overshadowed by the couple big shots he hits in early quarters and he disappeared in game 6 and 7 when he was needed most.

That's can happen when a team only has one solid scoring option and the entire Warriors team can focus on putting the clamps on him. Making mistakes as essentially the sole offensive option against the completely stacked Warriors team is understandable. Sure Harden isnt the next coming of Jordan, but hes not a stooge.
