Shit, life would be easier if I was a yes-man.

Shit, working for someone else is beta anyway(at least in my opinion), so why not go the extra little bit and become obsequious? You might get what you want a lot faster.

I somewhat agree with this. It is almost impossible taking orders from someone else and be alpha.

Haven't you heard? Working is beta now. Any year now they'll have the machines or corporations or whatever fill our food bowls with hamster pellets while we screw our robo-whores all day and night.

I've been offered a job as a CEO, with a $10 million annual compensation package and $50 million worth of stock options over the next three years.

But I turned it down.

Who wants to work for the board of directors and shareholders?

Only a beta.

Writing posts on internet forums is mad beta. True alphas simply project their thought and wishes out through the air. This keyboard is a crutch.

I kinda agree with this. If you can get fired by someone it's a weakness. I've seen many lives get fucked by little things like eating someones lunchable in the break room.

Despite me sticking my schnaz in a random bitches snatch last night, and me telling a guy thats was about 6'9 to "step off i'm talking", let me reconsider myself on a scale of things. I dont have an animal respect for big dudes. So what if your big? Your just a bigger pussy. I have respect for standup, witty, wise , confident men. Thats alpha.
A man who does what he has to do. Gets shit done with no complaints.
Who cares if you take orders? It will always be like that. So I'm beta because when my mother tells me to take out the garbage , i do it?

I still get a little burning sensation in my chest knowing I want to say " take that shit out yourself" , i can't do that. In certain situation you must comply.
Especially when we're speaking about the workforce, that is your BREAD and BUTTER.
We are talking about survival man.

Just about everyone takes orders from someone. The best thing you can do is to out yourself in a position where you take the minimal amount of shit for the greatest amount of pay.

Remember that being your own boss doesn't necessarily mean that you don't take orders. You still have clients that pay you and, if you need them bad enough, they can be as bad as bosses.

Bums can have game. If a bum uses the "panhandler" street day game opener routine on an HB7+ and can venue change to his cardboard box with "I want to show you how many cans I collected today", you know he's alpha.

Homeless + game = there is no spoon

The most ideal of situations, which if the board of directors/shareholders were to offer you, would mean that they trust you with their livelihoods and those of the companies employees. You're in charge, and with those stock options you're also an owner of the company.

Even if you have your own business you still work for your clients.

Assuming it's a service based business. And even then you can tell a client to go fuck them self if they're out of line and still pay your bills.

Unless you have 'fuck you money', there will always be an element of truth to that. My argument is that you can fire your clients as a business owner, but you can't fire your bosses as an employee. You really have little control over your schedule, creativity, and financial health as an employee.

If you work a job you hate and are furthering someone else's goals at the expense of your own... that's 'beta'.

I've been in fist fights at work, called women stupid cunts, blown off airbags in the parking lot, chased a dude with a light torch, sprayed carb cleaner under the bathroom door with someone in it and light it blowing the door off. made a cannon out of pvc pipe and have had 911 called on me about 15 times at least.

Can't get fired.

I don't really understand how wanting to adhere to so-called alpha policies against practicality.

Yes, I take orders from someone...usually a client because I never work where my so-called bosses are. Also, I am in I.T. consulting with a security clearance. I can pretty much leave one employer and work for another in 24 hours...so I need not take any sh*t.

Still....I would not let alpha vs. beta stop my main goal of survival and/or money.
