Yeah, makes me pretty uneasy.

I've been procrastinating but was planning on buying it to support Roosh/brush up on modern game, I wanted a physical copy but I might just cop the e-book.

Roosh owns several platforms that do well. He did a great campaign for the release of Game.

Just as women are not allowed on his platforms, Amazon has the right to pull his content.

Does it suck? Yes.

There is no "freedom of speech" in a world of private ownership.

As a person living in the UK, I've heard quite a bit about America's much-lauded "freedom of speech" since around about the date of my birth. It seems it's something worth shouting and screaming about, and everybody on the planet is familiar with how proud America is of this constitutional right.

To be honest, ROW (Rest of World) is exhausted hearing about it.

If you're going to say "freedom of speech, except when..." then you have to concede there is no such thing as freedom of speech. It should not come with qualifiers or disclaimers, except for issues of threatening or abusive behaviour.

Sure, I concede there is no such thing as total freedom of speech, in any country, but the way America has framed this is that it is a country that uniquely respects this right. So it's made its bed. Amazon is an American country. If it is going to start banning books then it needs to move its base to a country more favourable to such censorship.

Amazon isn't just a mom and pops website or bookstore it is a near monopoly online for selling your products these days. There are very few options these days due to mega corporations crushing all the competition and we are running out of options. Soon Roosh will be selling his books on ROK for cryptocurrencies because PayPal and every online merch will just ban him.

Where can I buy the paperback? It's not available on Amazon or Barnes & Noble...and I wanted one for myself and maybe a couple other copies to give to friends.

I wish we could buy it directly from Roosh without having to go through the Amazon middle man. I know that's probably a lot of work for Roosh, but the way this book ban madness is going with the big distributors that may be his only option soon.

I second this sentiment. I would rather not buy an e-book, and really don't want to buy from Amazon now. B&N is a less bad substitute. Ultimately I would rather buy it directly from Roosh now.

I'll take a look later but there is plenty of case law
About monopolies abusing their power, particularly
From 100 years back or so.

Given amazons status perhaps you might want to explore
A constitutional law suit against them?

That's retarded.

Let's ban a game book but sell The Anarchist Cookbook and offer prime shipping.

Roosh, I hope you figure out some other way to keep your cash flow going as I know this helps you pay rent and food.

It's unfortunate and it makes me angry to see such bullshit.

If every active forum member purchased the book (either already from Amazon/another platform or in the future via Roosh's website), this ban would suck but it could be greatly ameliorated. The same goes for every other book he has written.

I honestly don't think there's any excuse for any forum member not to be spending a mere $50 a year on Roosh's material, whether for themselves or as gifts for friends/little brothers/other relatives. Don't tell me that we all don't have 10 friends, relatives, acquaintances, or other people who would benefit from his work.

Roosh's hand has fed us through this forum, ROK, his own personal bravery, and his books. The least we can do is buy up big over the coming months.

Freedom of speech, or the lack thereof, is really a topic for another thread. I will say this, Amazon has every right to refuse to sell me anything that I want. I have every right to refuse to buy anything that Amazon is selling.(I have not bought anything from them in almost two years.) Both of those are contingent on the caveat that Amazon is not restricting my commercial access to alternative avenues. While they are right now with this book, I am hopeful that an alternative avenue will become available.

Its really strange that Barnes & Noble banned 'Game' in paperback (kept the eBook for some weird reason) but not any other of Roosh's paperback books. All of his books are still listed on B&N, except for Game. I saw Game was listed in paperback for $22.97 on B&N.com just 3 days ago.

If we spam B&N customer service, I think there is a better chance they will unban it -- compared to Amazon.

I know Roosh you have your own distribution channels but have you talked to VD about Castalia House carrying your books?

I ordered my paperback copy on Friday ...was wondering how today's development impacts shipping and all.

I just checked, it looks like the order works are 'back' but Game does not appear to be showing still.

I also checked my Kindle version that I had downloaded and it is still there. I had feared that maybe Amazon would 'revoke' it on the Kindle, even ones that had been downloaded.

None of the books are back. I have 19 books. They banned 9.

This might be reversible. Vox Day had a bunch of his books pulled by butthurt SJWs, and he was able to get them restored every time. He had to escalate. Roosh you may want to try emailing [email protected] and [email protected]. The first is their "executive" customer relations and is a level above the nitwits that Buck Wild just talked with.

The other one goes to Bezos and his assistants tend to route the email appropriately. Just have to be concise and non-political and you might have a chance to get out from under this particular butthurt SJW.

I've had success every time I've emailed [email protected] for Amazon-related issues (mostly AWS problems).

Barnes and Nobles sources the paperback from Amazon.

You'd think a huge global company like Amazon could hire customer service representatives who speak English.

Huge global companies are known for cutting costs by any means possible. All while the executives near the top of its food chain live high off the hog.

You should use the ban to publicize the book (and effectively sell more copies). Book bans have always backfired on the tyrants who pushed them.

I also contacted Amazon. The answer is that "the book has not been published yet". They might just not have delisted the whole book, but it seems they went ahead and wiped the database entries as well. Also, a suggestion was made to try contacting this help link instead from self-publishing:

Already bought the Kindle and audio versions through Amazon last week (and now feel like a dick for it), FWIW it seems to still be on my phone's Kindle app. Will contact them and also purchase a membership to the site (which I'd been meaning to do anyway and hadn't gotten around to) when I get home tonight.

Hope you're able to either get this fixed or use it for publicity to make up the lost revenue.

Plausible deniability. If your complaint/request hits a brick wall of a low IQ incompetent who makes no sense, hey, customer service tried to help as best they could.

Amazon has banned Game, along with 8 other books. They won't tell me why.

I dont want to get political, but as soon 2016 election was over and Trump won, i knew that night that the first thing thats going to be happening is ban all the convservative, and liberterian voices online.

Come 2020, and everyone who isnt on the liberal madness bandwagon isnt going to have any platform online.

I used to think Alex Jones was crazy, but this guy predicted this shit would happen. They blocked him from Twitter, facebook, youtube, and even from App Store.

Now Roosh got shut down on Amazon, and its only time before he is off the online platform.

Even sites like Gab is getting attacked where their app is getting kicked off by google store, and not allowed on Itunes.

There is a internet coup going on.
