More red pill workplace rules?

Ok so one of my all time favorite ROK articles is this one: http://www.returnofkings.com/2710/8-esse...-workplace

Probably read it over a hundred times along with all the comments. Frikkin brilliant.

Are there more articles like this? Or perhaps a book?

One other rule that comes to me is to say "not my monkey not my circus" at least dozens of times to yourself daily

More red pill workplace rules?

I wish I had found this article back in 2013. Some of these rules I already knew and followed by then, other rules I had to learn by trial and error.

Here is some more advice you can follow if you work in a corporate environment.

Understand what you need from your job and give enough in return to get what you need but not more than that. Do you need a promotion or just a steady paycheck so that you can save enough money and move on to do something else? If it's just the paycheck, then just do what you have to do, don't try to make friends or impress other people. If you don't have to impress anybody, your work life becomes much easier.

Happy hours/parties/drinking with colleagues. While it's a good idea to go to at least the most important events, either don't drink at all or have one or two drinks max. Otherwise you'll let your guard down and tell your co-workers more than they need to know (like about that hot chick you banged on vacation in Prague last month). They will remember it, gossip behind your back and may use it against you at some point. Definitely not worth it. Neither is hitting on girls from work (that goes without saying, but I'll mention it just in case).

Be boring and predictable beta male. How did you spend your weekend? You had dinner with your friends/parents/brother and stayed home the rest of the time (even if you actually got drunk and banged a slut or two from a bar). Co-workers might think you're a bit of a loser, but at least they won't envy you or gossip about you.

Vacations.Totally agree with the author about lying. You went to Colorado to visit your sister or [insert some boring place where you have already been], not to Bangkok or Bogota.

Smile and nod. Never be rude even if other people at work are. As much as you want to tell somebody to fuck off, don't do it even when you give your notice. If somebody tries to take advantage of you, there are many ways to stop that without being rude. If you have to be aggressive, be passive aggressive: say "fuck you" with your actions, not your words.

To borrow from radio show host Tom Leykis, don't talk to women at work about anything except work. Depending on your work environment, you may even want to avoid talking to women behind closed doors without witnesses. However, don't be open and honest about it, just avoid situations that could be bad for you.

Never ever discuss politics or any sensitive/cultural subjects at work. Doesn't matter if your colleagues bring up these subjects, just come up with some bullshit and tell them as little as possible. Some of them may even try to provoke you to tell them what you think. There was this asshole at one of my previous jobs who brought up the subject of feminism and women while talking to me. I didn't trust him so I just gave him a BS non-answer.

Take the idea of taboo subjects to the next level. Make a list of non-taboo subjects you can discuss at work, everything else is taboo. Keep the rest to yourself. For example, food, gadgets and the rent is too damn high. Even with those subjects, especially if you make more money than some of your co-workers, be careful and don't reveal specific amounts.

Understand that you are disposable. You are a cog in the machine. Always make sure you have Plan B if you get laid off or fired. Build up your savings and investments. Don't waste money or get in debt. If you are in debt, pay it off as quickly as you can. No matter how shitty your job is, having FU money and knowing you can quit anytime you want will make it more tolerable.

If it's just the paycheck, then just do what you have to do, don't try to make friends or impress other people. If you don't have to impress anybody, your work life becomes much easier.

In addition, following this rule means you don't have to worry about all the other jealous assholes who decide you are a threat when you do something better than they do. Women are especially attuned to potential rivals or competitors, and the nature of most for-profit bureaucracies as unable to properly judge who objectively does a good job from those who don't plays to their natural strengths at gossiping and office politics.

One more I'd like to add:

Be prepared for that moment when you are asked to do something dishonest by a superior, and have a plan either for covering up that shit or getting the hell out. There are no large organisations that are honest. Period. Public, private, for-profit, charities, once an organisation reaches a certain point the chain of people who have to all be honest becomes too long to be resisted, and the moment that happens, no decision can be made that is honest.

At some point you'll be asked to do something you know is dishonest, and when you do, you are compromised from that point on. This is how the Mafia works, albeit they "make" you by killing someone, and having the requisite dirt on you to put you away for that stuff. John T. Reed sets out very carefully how the same process works in the military among career officers in the orthodox, line US Army (as opposed to more outcome-oriented outfits such as JAG, Special Forces and possibly the SEALS.)

Nassim Taleb would call this moment as being the one when the employer puts your skin in its game - because an employee's game is remaining employable, and any dirt they have on you affects not necessarily this job, but your future job.

When that moment comes for you, you basically either comply or leave, because failing to comply makes you a risk to the superior who asked you to do the dishonest thing. Such risks are traditionally dealt with by the age-old method of being ushered out of the organisation via a series of false professional development reports or reports that make vague suggestions that the person is "not a team player" or "does not play well with others". In the present #MeToo period the false sexual harassment claim may be tried as well.

Generally it won't be a large dishonest thing that you're asked to do at first, or not when you're new to the company. Outsiders' moral compunctions are unknown and therefore are tested with small experiments to see if they can be morally bent. Being out drinking with people from the office is a convenient test bed: they can watch you and see if you have a problem with alcohol or drop your guard when not in a work situation. Socialising with work colleagues lets them know where your weaknesses lie.

Me, I have roughly zero idea why anyone would want to go out with or hang around with someone they work with. You already hang around these assholes for 40+ hours per week, why the hell would you want to hang around them even more than you absolutely had to?

Remissas, discite, vivet.
God save us from people who mean well. -storm

Great post. And I fully agree about talking to female colleagues only about work-related stuff. Look at the upside - what are you going to gain from a heated debate/flirty banter with Stacy from Accounts? Nothing. But it can lead to trouble, now or later.

Incorrect and short sighted. You can gain favours and quicker "action" when mistakes are made. "Stacey" can also stick up for you when it comes to decisions by other hens in the organisation who hold some form of leverage over you.

Stacy can/will also "stick" something up you bumhole when she feels bad about you. Once she doesn't think its "flirting" but now decides that it is "harressment", what are you going to do?

And, as a newbie, I won't argue with you about your rude statement "incorrect and short-sighted".

Don't get butthurt around here over statements you perceive as rude.

Incorrect and short sighted was a direct response to you saying NOTHING can be gained. That is straight up incorrect... and short sighted [Image: tongue.gif]

BTW Anyone can/will "stick" something up your bumhole when they feel bad about you, whether it's based on performance, envy, tactical threat or whatever. It's beneficial to have females on your side if you can't avoid contact with them and flirting can be done discreetly and with plausible deniability, call it "game" if you want...

" In a large organization, don’t try and befriend people outside of your team members. Your field managers will find it suspicious as well as weird. A company department is a modern day tribe. It will not go down well."

This one is from the comments section of the original article. In large (U.S.) companies, this is often to be seen. And a stark contrast to the "we are so collaborative" hypocrisy you will find on their "Corporate Values" tombstone.

And, more in general, mind the group-thinks and collectivism of large (U.S.) companies. Especially in "modern" industries (=online/digital) make sure to "fit in". Don't be different, the open-minded people hate it.

In my next post, I want to open the discussion about the Red Pill "rules", not to focus only on female colleagues but also to look at the Beta SJW male types, which are equally dangerous.

More red pill workplace rules?

Excellent and timely thread for me, I will read the ROK article.

I currently work with 5 lesbians, and lots of women but i love watching and learning workplace psychologies, I will have a think about some stuff and add to this later.

Straight up though a few things about women in the workplace I have noticed,..... Many women are very conscientious workers, they do things by the book and get irked and stressed very easily and so they tend to knit pick, gossip and manipulate, I honestly dont think they even notice they are doing it. I think this trait transfers to women being 'nagging' in relationships too.

They make excellent worker drones and even the smart ones cant see out of the matrix they live in. The amount of times you will see " Carrer Minded" in dating profiles is a good example of this.

They tend not to have any genuine interests, hobbies or innate interest in what they do, but when they work in a field they apparently 'Love" they become extremely 'passionate' and supposedly extremely knowledgeable about also. For example I was talking to a girl I went to uni with about pest species of fish, I have always loved aquariums, fishing and studying the more scientific side of this at uni was very interesting to me. Now I am genuinely interested in the highly invasive pest species carp and my depth of knowledge is something like that of a male mechanic talking about a car. Whereas this girl only knew what she was taught at Uni, other than that she had no interest in the matter. To me that pretty much sums it up; girls are just not interested in the stuff that guys are, they are not innately interested in science, engineering, inventing, etc. They are only interested in the career itself.

Most women seem only to be able to follow processes that are already in place eg. School, Uni, Career..... Now many girls are very smart and very good at their jobs but they have no interest in what they do apart from the job itself. To be fair alot of men are like this to, but pretty much all women are like this even the smarter ones. They simply have no interest in anything more which to be honest apart from the passive aggressive cat fighting and manipulation I think makes them the perfect "workers".

It seems they will always be the cogs in the wheel, they will work hard and diligently on the tasks and processes already laid out for them. But they will rarely be the ones who invent these processes in the first place, and really they have no interest in doing so. Nothing wrong with that just annoying when they pretend they do.

And so now that men have put in place the incredibly complex processes that make the world go round today, women, or feminists really come along after the fact and say, hang on we want some of this good stuff too, after all the hard work has already been done.

Same with immigrants, its like hey, your place looks fine, I want some of that good shit too, you should let me have some even though I did not earn it and have done nothing to deserve it and will probably do my best to drag you down with my shitty culture, but you will get some authentic kebab shops, Hummus and Falafel; the real thing too from the home land. ( I really do love authentic Hummus and felafel) [Image: smile.gif]
