Was somewhat disappointed with Season 20. By the end of it I was just bored and didn't bother watching the final episode or two.

I wasn't planning on even watching the 21st season of South Park but when I saw the title, I knew I had to give it another shot.

Just watched the latest episode. Absolutely genius.

Looks like these guys are back.

Nope - it's still leftist shithead propaganda - just toned down a bit.

The White People Renovating houses is a funny meme, but ultimately toothless.

The rest of the episode compares the protests regarding the Confederate statues as some kind of low-IQ hillbillies being upset while having zero legitimate concerns. Then there is the issue of low-IQ people having no work. Yes - that is true, but the offshoring of jobs to China and India, so that a company can have a 10% higher profit margin, is not necessary. These jobs are not replaced by robots, but by people with low wage and labor regulations - other people just at cheaper locations are doing it. Also replacing 80k programmers at Disney and replacing them with 30k Indian programmers is not creating any net benefit to the US you fucking shitheads.

Then the South Park creators quickly point to the fact that Americans should not be concerned with being replaced, because that is just low-IQ hillbilly talk. Indeed - replacing White People (trademark pending) with Muslims, Mexicans and Somalis will be just fine. Now go relax and create some "open concept" living in your home.

Fuck those assholes.

Also on another note. Those assholes despite the fact that they are obviously hanging over CNN non-stop have learned jack-shit about Game and relationships. Yeah - that Cartman character dumped his girlfriend for "emotional abuse", but in reality he just would have needed frame and Game.

Those guys may have learned a miniscule thing, but not much - they have become the usual dumb Hollywood bitches with a mini-dick left - at least they look better than they did in their younger days. Game-less Blue Pill semi-progressive anti-Western globalist-indoctrinated assholes that they are:

And before someone mentions that they are just faking it - no they are not. They just went less against Trump, because it probably hurt their brand a bit alienating 50% of the population. They still point to the same shit. And they have enough creative leeway to make it less political.

Their truthful humor was my focus in this discussion, and I don't believe this particular joke was sardonic-it was more straightforward than anything. Trey and Matt are not representatives of my race and never were, so your question feels out of left field (no pun intended).I have always had a lot of respect for you Aurini, but this question seems poorly conceived or poorly worded, so either illuminate me(maybe I am missing something.....) or reword it and I will address with the respect you have earned from me. Or PM me, no worries. You stick up for your people when there is a pile on , and stand for what you believe-you will always get a honest conversation from me.

Let me clarify, I wasn't arguing with you; I think your original statement is pretty self evident. I was more raising the eyebrow, and saying "Are you sure having these assholes on your side is a good thing?" When idiots start agreeing with me - whether it's Trey or Matt siding with Gamergate, or somebody like Anglin presenting a warped version of healthy identity, I start looking around me for the tightening noose. Something is going on if a retard agrees with the truth; there's some sort of angle or profit in it for them, and I'm pretty sure that they care about "The Movement" roughly about as much as Nike cares about the Olympics; it's merely something for them to exploit.

Not necessarily, just look at Trump. As I say frequently one of the biggest strengths he has is that he's able to communicate conservative ideas to stupid people very well.

South Park's "White People Renovating Houses" was making fun of and poking holes of this new reality TV phenomena going on today: House TV remodeling shows, Bar Rescue, the Profit, etc. While I do watch the Profit and Bar Rescue on occasion- it can give the false reality to the masses to feel that with an extra $100,000 and business consultancy they can have their lives transformed. While that statement is true, the business advice on those shows are pretty solid overall.

I do agree that a failure to show that manufacturing jobs have been exported to third world countries where labor laws are non-existent, was disappointing. How is it that we in the US have fought for legitimate labor rights (child labor laws, employee overtime, safe working environments), and other countries bosses can reap from our innovations by producing our cheap foreign made goods without giving fair and adequate compensation to their citizens. Then when we complain about globalism, any argument is automatically responded as "just get an education", which is inherently flawed at its face. Globalism benefits the rich at the expense of societies.

Cartman having emotional issues with Alexa vs Girlfriend is a very real topic. Technology and seamless user experience from incessant smart-phone devices has given us the false idea that people and their ideas can be "swiped left" or just "swiped away". Technology is chipping away the masses form of healthy communication, dialogue, and constructive criticism. That's why we see these SJW that can't have a simple dialogue or are even willing to come to the table and discuss ideas like adults. Rather, when they are presented with an opportunity to speak and defend their ideas they instead lash their anger out in violence before even communicating their anger to the other side.

South Park is still on my list of shows to watch.

Mr. Garrison's tweets had me in stitches. Listening to people read them when they trucked kids was hilarious. Tweak freaking out after every one of them was great.

Pretty funny episode. President's tweets and Cartman's songs were amazing.

I didn't like the whole Craig + Tweak gay relationship angle though. Where did that come from? And why did characters keep mentioning that they were homosexuals (this happened 5+ times)? I couldn't tell if it was a bad joke or if Matt and Trey are just catering to the PC crowd now. I found it distracting, especially since SP's timeline has barely moved forward during the entirety of the show, so for them to be gay all of a sudden makes no sense.

My guess is that Comedy Central forced M+T to throw in some SJW shit if they wanted to keep the show on the air.

There was a previous episode where there were paintings of Tweak and Craig that depicted them as gay. Everyone then thought they were gay, they just went with it, even though they are both straight.

Not a good episode. Really unimaginative and lacking inspiration.

I've been disappointed so far with the change in tone of the show.

The creators of South Park aren't really liberal, they're just libertarians who will go to the left as to not upset Comedy Central which is also home of the Daily show.

As Gavin McInnes has said in the past. The "punks / counter culture" is now on the right / anti-establishment side of politics.

Should South Park want to remain edgy, they'd have to mimic Trump & the MAGA crowd...

"Put it Down". Tasteless. Cartman's singing was played out from a previous season, where the kids battled the idea of joining the musical movement.

President Trump stated- "the use of social media is not Presidential- it's modern day presidential."

The notion of "putting down your smartphone if you're president", is ludicrous. In order to become president, as we know, the person needs the peoples' attention and hearts. The use of communication was previously controlled by paper, radio, and television. The fact that Donald Trump used Social Media to gain presidency was not out of this world cunning, or surprising, as the mainstream would like us to believe. Rather, the use of social media was practical and well beyond due.

If we think about it, Social media mass communication has been around for quite sometime to acquire power. Almost every successful company now harnesses the power of social media to get more clients, profit and power. President Trump was the only candidate that could maintain a strong frame, tactics and withstand the never-ending barrage of ill-gossip news.

A strong frame was the key because he knew he had the support of the blue collar worker. And he continues to use (rightfully so), to maintain communication with the people. As a result South Park failed to appreciate the true meaning behind obtaining, (possibly maintaining) executive power through the use of Social media. To say "put down your phone" is simply giving us a shallow view, that the daily mainstream news forces us to believe everyday. The obtaining of real power and ruling a country is the heart of our current political and world tension. Sadly, South Park fails to address our current political situation. A rehash of bullshit.

For these reasons, this episode receives a 2/10.

I will continue to watch South Park. Their previous works gives them the credibility to have some short-sightedness.

I think you missed the joke.

They spent all episode showing the dangers of distracted driving and finished off with everyone trying to shift the blame on to the President.

The DNA was fucking hilarious. Those DNA tests give liberals a sense of false-identity... instead of accepting or much less being proud of their American identity.

Good comedy is based on making fun of uncomfortable truths. Things people think and see but know it's impolite to say. But the things are plainly true.

South Park goes after the easy targets. It's safe to laugh about Trump and North Korea and white people. They make jokes about false or exaggerated aspects of one group, while they remain totally silent about the evident truths of other groups in society.

"Comedy" these days is boring. It feels like propaganda, forced, pushing a stupid agenda. South Park presents as edgy and shocking, but it's all within the bounds. There's nothing new, interesting or daring. It's soft and safe.

Watched a couple of episodes of the new season to see if anything's changed and was of course disappointed.

Part of the problem is Comedy Central won't let them go that far. If you watch the old seasons, South Park used to go after every race and religion. Their 200th episode has been banned from television because they made fun of how sensitive Muslims are of anyone making fun of Muhammad and their extremists in Islam. Comedy Central censored out an entire speech in that episode about how the best way to not be made fun of is if you threaten people win guns, bombs, and violence. They amplified this by having Jesus Christ and Santa Claus join in on the big speech.

Dude no offense, but you're the one that missed the joke. They were using distracted driving as the excuse for the characters to sing Put It Down without directly going after the president until the end of the episode. The distracted driving was only meant to be there because the characters thought Trump's tweets were that crazy. But, the side joke was that Trump was having all these extreme tweets to North Korea and that Tweek wasn't afraid of them. But, the fourth wall meaning of that song was directed at Trump to stop making the tweets he has.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

----Franchise Prequel-----

(1) "You should have thought about inviting FB to your lives, before you start complaining."

This misses a big point. Meaning, that with any progress in society, there are negative drawbacks. This has been discussed in Plato's Socrates. Socrates saw that any innovation, will lead to negative outcomes. That is why in the writings, Socrates longed for a society of relatively little innovation, (the Egyptian Empire).

Our society did not choose whether or not to invite Facebook to our lives. Rather it is the result of our previous' societies decision to pursue a course of free will and freedom of thought. I am referring to 1776 and the birth of the US Constitution First Amendment Freedom of Speech. Coupled with the results of winning wars and relative lasting peace, this has helped accelerate innovation. Innovation of technology, internet, smartphones, to instantaneous mass communication (like the one we are having now), and gives us applications like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to our society's lives.

The mass speed of communication and innovation, has led to the drawbacks of having a "big brother", and all the ill results we now see in society. (Please see hypergamy for more such examples)

(2) Netflix accepting any crap. Besides House of Cards, Netflix is a shit. It's horrible and gives me diarrhea just thinking about it. Honestly there are more crappy chick shows than anything else there. Fuck.

(3) Cartman. Cartman from the early season was the badass. The guy who has the immense tunnel vision focus. And no matter what you said or did to him, he would come out on top and with the last laugh, be it ironic. Now with his acting of an AFC with his GF, it makes me cringe. Is this the end result of the badass guy, or is this another warning sign for us to watch out for.

Fin.
