Planning Trip to Poland

So I'm planning a trip to Poland sometime next year.
I was wondering how hard it would be to find a place to rent for two months. I was also curious if anybody new a good website for finding a place to rent. Most search results have places with a high daily rate.
I'm also wondering how much Polish I need to know to get by. I plan to rent in a bigger city but rent a car from time to time to check out some of the smaller towns in the country.
One last question is how cheap have you guys been able to book flights for? The best I have seen is $1500 CAD.

Use AirBnB, it has pretty good market penetration within Poland. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.
As for English, most young people are capable of speaking some English. You'll be able to make it with basic survival Polish for the duration. (This being limited to the larger cities, though.)
For flights, about 1500 CAD is the usual that I find (for flights to Warsaw.) You should be able to save some by flying to Berlin and taking the train across the border (only three or so hours away.)

If you happen to live reasonably close to a US airport that might also be a cheaper option.

I just took some arbitrary dates, 21 of October from Toronto to Warsaw, return on 26 of November. The price came out at 820 CAD. How did you get 1500?
1500 CAD still seems too cheap to be in business class.

^^^I was going to say Toronto is the cheapest city in North America to fly to Europe from. I've seen flights to tallin from Toronto for around 450 Canadian dollars all the way into June! So you could fly there or Rome and then take a cheap flight to Poland.

Not in all of North America, all of Canada maybe. Flights to and from New York are typically as cheap as it can get for flights between Europe and North America.

I used a non Canadian site and then recalculated the price into CAD. However expedia.ca seems to show approximately the same price for those days (from Toronto). Calgary is a little bit more expensive.
You can't find cheap tickets to New York and then go from there?
