To ditch or not to ditch.. that's the question

To ditch or not to ditch.. that's the question

I would like to ask for advice, since I can't decide for myself..

I just returned from my first date with a girl I met on Friday.. On Friday we danced, there was attraction and very little kiss, from which she pulled out after like 8 seconds of kissing.

So today we went on a date, I used some techniques to build up attraction, there was decent amount of touching, and then I went for the kiss.

At that moment, she turned her head away and said that she just doesn't know me enough, and she is not kissing with just anyone. (in these exact words)

So at that point, I already started leaning towards decision to ditch her, as she is obviously not attracted enough to me. It was probably visible on me too, because well.. why would I hide it.

But now, 1 hour after the date, she send me a message saying:

"You are great, I hope I haven't disappointed you with the kiss, you know.. I would really like to give it to you, but I don't want to hurry it all up so much.
So goodbye and good night. Kiss"

So now I'm really not sure.. Should I still give her a chance, or should I ditch her after all?

Also, since this is my first post.. Sup everyone, I'm Rooster. You can say I am still quite the beta but lately I've been really trying to tighten my game.

You seem desperate. Do you have other options? Get more plates. Let her chase you.

8 seconds isn't a very little kiss. Maybe you should have pulled out sooner the first time.

Did you kiss her at the end of the date? What about at the beginning of the second date? These are rules of thumb for me.

I wouldn't count her out completely based on her last text message, sometimes it takes more than two dates (though you should be at least making out by this point). If you have nothing else going on give it one more go and if you don't get any action cut her loose. In the meantime get to pipelining new girls.

My old rule was three dates and you're out. I've relaxed those as my game has unrusted and I've gotten older because I think it was costing me quality notches. My last mini relationship took five dates, way beyond the amount of time I would normally invest.

It does take a degree of experience to know when you are wasting your time or not though, which is why I recommend seeing her another time even if just for the experience.

Thanks for the advice. I will give her the second date chance then.

Btw what would you reply to the message? My choice right now is: Nothing. The message for me still seemed like she is a bit on a high horse, especially with the: "I hope you are not too disappointed".

So replying nothing might be a way to get her off her horse a little. Best I can think of atm

Depends on how consistent she is with texting. If she responds quickly or quick enough go ahead and respond (assuming this happened way before you posted here).

Nah, It's been like an hour since she send it and she probably already went to sleep. So I can still respond to it.. Just not sure what should I write.

DON'T send it at night, send it the next day, or maybe even keep silent for a bit longer.

But don't send her a text immediately or a bit after her response.

Honestly if she's rejecting your advances she either:

-A virgin.
-A prude.
-Playing games.
-Is trying to friendzone you

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since she's not an American girl and you're in Slovakia. She just might be very conservative.

I'd go radio silent on her a little bit and not reply with anyting, if she doesn't respond, then do a follow up text in a few days and set up Date 3.

She has 2 strikes on her, Date 3 will be strike 3, if you don't escalate enough or she's rejecting alot of your advances, eject and next her.

The "nice to see you" kiss is highly underrated.

If you haven't banged the girl yet - it's a great way to set the tone early.

If you've already banged her - it'll let her relax and know your sexual intent.

Advice for next time:
1. Escalate, slowly but surly.
2. If she turns her head, try after 5 minutes.
3. Agree with redbeard - Kiss her at the beginning. This shows that you are not afraid to touch.

As for the text - maybe use Non Sequitor game like "We'll see".
